Management Committee

Phoenix is managed by a committee of parent volunteers who are the trustees of the charity and who volunteer their time to ensure that Phoenix is run properly.

Members are elected by parents of the children who attend Phoenix Under Fives at an Annual General Meeting (AGM), which usually takes place in the Autumn Term. The AGM is open to all parents and staff to attend and is an opportunity to reflect on the previous years activities and share plans for the year ahead.

The Committee is responsible for

• Managing our finances;

• Employing and managing our staff;

• Making sure that we have – and adhere to – policies that help sustain a high standard of care.

• Making sure that we work in partnership with parents.
